I had a very nice 4 days 3 nights stay in Kuching.
Day 1 (29 April 2010)
I reached Kuching at about 1730. Then, my dear friend, Yun yun came to fetch me. I was so happy to see her. It had been such a long time I didn't spend time with her, my BF =). At night, we went out to have our dinner at Kensaku (I did not like the food there, though). I met my beloved old classmates, Ah Ching, Ah Huong, and a new friend, Lee Sze. Ah Huong and Lee Sze late for about 1 hour -__-. Then, we went to the spring to watch a movie (Ip Man 2) at 2245. It was the first time I stayed out so late outside, haha. I loved the movie, very nice ^^
Day 2 (30 April)
Waking up at about 1030, I went to UNIMAS. I got the chance to look around there, thanks to Ah Huong ^^. Then, we had out brunch at about 1500..haha...this time, I enjoyed the food so much ^^. We headed for PC fair after that. We came out empty-handed..hehe..At night, I went out with Yun Yun to the Spring. We ate a very special ice-cream - ice-cream crackers..^^ yummy~~
Day 3 (1 May)
Today, we are lazy already...stay at home the whole morning and the whole aftenoon...tired already guess. I read Yun Yun's comic books (they're funny :D). Meanwhile, Yun Yun was dong her homework...In the evening, we went to waterfront with Janice and Jane, my new friends. It was so beautiful there. Unfortunately, it started to rain when we walked halfway along the waterfront, we run crazily to find shelter..haha..four ppl, but there was only one umbrella. So, Yun yun bought an umbrella for me (TQ~muacks^^). Then, we had lunch together at Kado ( i guess). The scenery there is very romantic~ Loved it!
Day 4 (2 May)
Today is the day I went home T_T. In the morning, I went to church with Yun2...TQ for accompanying me oo..After having a satisfying lunch, we headed back and I packed. At about 1400, I went back to Sarikei~ I will come and see you again, Yun2 ^^ miss you~~! THANKS for everything!
Just now, I came across a French animation movie, "Mia Et Le Migou". At the beginning of the story, I wasn't very much impressed because the drawings of the cartoon look "dusty" and "old". But, as the story goes to its end, i like it. Really.
These are the main characters in this movie. From left: Aldrin, Mia, Mia's father, Aldrin's dad, and Migou (cute ^^)
I like the way it brings out the issue of proverty. Mia's father works in a giant construction site, drilling a tunnel through an area of exceptional natural beauty that is to become a luxurious hotel complex. I felt sad when see these workers fighting so hard to earn their living.
Then, I was touched by the courage and longing of Mia to find his father. Mia (5 years old!! Can you imagine that??!!) went through a difficult journey to reach his father.
It is about nature. The story takes in issue about the end of the world and the importance of our mother nature. The mysterious tree in this movie is so pretty ^_^.
I like the scene of the meteor rain also. Fascinating.
This scene is touching. Mia and Aldrin with their dads.
Those who like to watch cartoon like me, can go watch this cartoon movie o ^_^
4 girls, friends forever~
The sand between our toes. The gentle sea-breeze whipping at our cheeks. The moment with beloved friends.
Although it is quite a long journey to Jeram, it is definitely worth a trip.
